Join the SwRI Subcontracts team! You will be collaborating and working closely in a group that solicits, negotiates, awards and administers subcontracts to support contracts with Institute clients. Solicit proposals, conduct cost/price analysis, negotiate and finalize subcontracts and other agreements (subgrants, CRADA's, etc.). Administer subcontracts to include closeout. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requires a BS/BA degree in Business or related discipline. Master's Degree a plus. Must have 0-5 years of contracts, subcontracts, government requirements, and/or related experience. Must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Experience with government requirements, primarily FAR and 2 CFR 200 (or OMB Circular A-133) preferred. Preferred experience administering Government subcontracts; thorough knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as well as current experience with 2 CFR 200 or OMB Circular A-133 requirements and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) requirements. Experience with personal computers is required. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word experience preferred. Knowledge of general business practices and procedures is required. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
