Manages projects limited in scope to LOB products, processes or functions although some may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications. Serves as secondary contact to senior department managers for critical change initiatives and provides assistance to staff. Partners with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change. Accountable for initiatives limited in scope to department products, processes or functions although some may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications. Accountable for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation. Plans, organizes, monitors and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion. Develop and socialize potential risk mitigation strategies. Effectively communicates with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed. Partners with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change. Responsible for Clarity and PCM updates and project documents. Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Typically 3+ plus years of project management support experience.

The ATM Project Manager role will support the ATM channel within the Military Banking Overseas Division (MBOD). The role provides support/leadership for all initiatives relating to the MBOD ATM channel.

  • Consults with technology support and acts as a liaison with business partners during the resolution of system issues.
  • Plans/Directs ATM activities for processing changes, resolves complex requests with minimum guidance.
  • Manages/Reviews of all functions, changes, and enhancements.
  • Manages ATM metrics for the Military Banking Division.
  • Responsible for change initiatives in moderate to significant scope impacting the channel.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Should have increased awareness and exposure to basic technical principles, concepts, and techniques of ATM management.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 1-3 years of project management experience.

  • 3-5 years of ATM management experience.
  • Experience leading technology and ATM project initiatives (i.e. network upgrades, ATM deployments, ATM vendor management)
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work efforts and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to translate business plans/policies into specific goals and action plans.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills (to include written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project.
  • Self-motivated with proven flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment; able to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work within strict timeframes and meet the demands associated with managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to focus on detail.
