Description

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for guiding customers through their orders via phone, email, or online chats. They will be able to provide superb customer service to our customers while also being able to troubleshoot issues.

  • Receives and enters purchase orders into manufacturing data systems.
  • Generates Customer quotes and follows up on leads.
  • Assists in developing and negotiating price with customers.
  • Acts as a communication point for all parties in processing, manufacturing and shipment of customer orders.
  • Builds strong interdepartmental relationships to facilitate and expedite requests.
  • Maintains electronic customer files.
  • Works with internal partners on status of orders ensuring the delivery commitment to clients are met.
  • Develops and achieves lead generation monthly and/or annual plan targets.
  • Cooperates with Business Development Managers and Sales Manager to develop sales strategy through creating and delivering qualified opportunities when appropriate.
  • Handles outbound and inbound account management.
  • Establishes and maintains strategic relationships.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Organize and prioritize work and make appropriate decisions.
  • Exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Work under minimal supervision in a high-volume environment.
  • Read, write, speak and comprehend the English language.
  • See adequately to type, write, read and proof various documents.
  • Learn and utilize new computer programs.
  • Excellent time management/organization skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel.
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions in diagram form.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, self-directed environment.
  • Ability to handle conflict and deal with time constraints.
  • Ability to be a team player and work in a demanding environment.
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams promoting an environment of open communication and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to be proactive and creative in an account manager relationship to generate sales.
