The Network Contractor develops theprovider network (physicians, hospitals, pharmacies, ancillary groups &facilities, etc.) yielding a geographically competitive, broad access, stablenetwork that achieves objectives for unit cost performance and trendmanagement, and produces an affordable and predictable product for customersand business partners. Network Contractors evaluate and negotiate contracts incompliance with company contract templates, reimbursement structure standards,and other key process controls. Responsibilities also include establishing andmaintaining strong business relationships with Hospital, Physician, Pharmacy,or Ancillary providers, and ensuring the network composition includes anappropriate distribution of provider specialties.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for identifying, recruiting, contracting, and retaining aprovider network (Dental) in geographic area within established guidelines tomeet network needs.

  • Ensures provider database and documentation is up-to-date,accurate, and complete and submitted promptly and accurately.

  • Prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines
  • Provide explanations and information to others on topicswithin area of expertise

  • Position/Candidate will be reporting to the San Antonio, TXOffice

RequiredQualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales or call center environmentrelated to provider service/contracting and provider networking

  • 1+ years of experience prospecting new and existing leads
  • 6+ months of experience Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid reimbursementmethodologies

  • 2+ years of customer service experience
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor'sdegree

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; abilityto speak clearly and concisely, conveying complex or technical information in amanner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand andinterpret complex information form others

  • Strong interpersonal skills, establishing rapport andworking well with others
