Overall Job Description

As a Security Officer at Securitas, you will be responsible for the security and safety of property and personnel. You will be trained on all site-specific policies and procedures, providing outstanding customer service, and assist in emergency response activities as needed. An ideal candidate would be an individual who takes pride in their work and understands that all rules and policies must be followed.

As a Gate Guard your duties would be to ensure to check IDs/credentials before allowing entrance. All visitors must have a scheduled appointment and will be verified by the Security Officer on duty. This job site is located in the south region of San Antonio in zip code 78224.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Flexible shift availability; able to work either day/night shift
• Have reliable transportation
• Stable work history and provide resume
• Customer service experience
• Competent use and knowledge of smart phones
• Good communication skills
• Valid Guard Card (training can be provided)

Education/Experience

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Provide proof of completing high school or G.E.D. (can also use transcripts/diploma from college)
• Security or related experience preferred
• Must be willing to take a drug test and background check
