The mission of Catholic Charities is to provide for the needs of our community through selfless service under the sign of love.


The HR Director is responsible for overseeing the successful operations of the HR Department. The HR Director reviews employee data, investigates employee complaints and manages HR functions across the agency.

Position Responsibilities:

* *Collaborate with Senior Leadership to understand the organizations goals and strategies related to staffing, recruitment, and retention
* *Monitor and ensure the organizations compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations
* *Facilitate performance issues to include conducting internal HR related investigations
* *Handling employee relations
* *Development and management of the HR department budget
* *Assessing staffing needs
* *Designing training programs
* *Developing compensation plans and compensation analysis
* Recruits, interviews, hires, trains and supervises staff in HR department
* Oversee the daily workflow of the HR department

Minimum Qualifications:

* Education
* Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred

* Experience
* At least five years of human resource management experience required
* Nonprofit experience, preferred

* License and Credentials
* Reliable transportation
* Valid driver license
* Clean driving record
* Ability to pass background check

Minimum Knowledge and Skills:

* Effective and clear verbal and written communication skills
* Strong leadership and managerial skills to oversee the HR department and work with all employees within the company
* Project and time management skills
* Organizational skills
* Proven expertise solving problems
* Budge management skills
* Knowledge of computers to perform necessary tasks with common office and HR programs
