Collaborate and work with IT Manager and IT group to develop and implement IT security policies and procedures. Conduct information security risk analyses and vulnerability assessments. Design and facilitate activities to create IT security awareness within the division. Research, develop, implement, test and review Division's information security in order to protect information and prevent unauthorized access; create and maintain documentation in accordance with IT security requirements. Develop and review information system security plans in the division and perform other IT security functions such as system patch management support of McAfee EPO service, as well as configure, maintain and support Windows, Macintosh, Linux and UNIX systems, network hardware and software for the Computer and Network Support Group. Provide technical support and guidance to staff concerning issues involving computer hardware and software, track and document trouble tickets, document IT-related processes and procedures.
Requires a Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or closely related with at least 2 years of system administration experience. Must have a 3.0 GPA. GSEC, GCIH, GCCC, or Security+ Certification is a major plus. Those without a degree but with 5 years of directly related experience, may be considered. Experience with establishing and implementing IT security policies is a plus. Familiarity with implementing NIST 800-171 is a plus. Must have experience in System Administration configuration and support of Linux or UNIX computers in a business network environment. Must have System Administration configuration experience and be able to support Windows and or Macintosh computers in a business network environment.
