This position is available to both the Tucson-area and remote candidates. At this time, Simpleview can currently only employ remote staff who reside in the following U.S. states or Canadian province: Arizona, British Columbia, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin.

We are looking to add to our professional, dedicated and hard working team an independent, talented, top-notch Manager of Accounting and Reporting with a great work ethic who thrives in organizations that constantly adapt and evolve.


The Manager of Accounting and Reporting plays a key role as an accounting leader for Simpleview. Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for Revenue recognition, quarterly reporting of our financial statements to creditors, internal review and reporting of monthly close, audit process support, and using technical expertise to solve day-to-day or project-based accounting matters. This a ‘hands-on’ role on a medium sized accounting team with one direct report, which will require you to toggle between review on Revenue and creating work product yourself in other areas. The role will be involved in a wide set of activities with direct supervisory responsibility of our Revenue accountant. Strong technical knowledge and broad experience with US GAAP are key.


This position requires a talented professional who exhibits the following attributes:

Certified Public Accountant licensure complete

Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience

5+ years of general accounting experience

3+ years of experience between revenue accounting and financial reporting

High level of proficiency with accounting ERPs, and preferably NetSuite experience

High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Extensive experience and knowledge in revenue recognition ASC 606

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and work accuracy

Aptitude to learn very quickly

Personal resilience -- workload is consistent and often demanding

Able to work independently with limited supervision and on multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent work habits, including willingness to go the extra mile during financial close or audit periods

Although not requirements, the following are a positive:

High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel), NetSuite and Salesforce

Experience with software-as-a-service and/or marketing agency models
