JOB PURPOSE:

The Parenting Education Coordinator is responsible for conducting parenting education orientations and classes. The Parenting Education Coordinator works in collaboration with program staff and clinicians to cultivate a client-centered and trauma-informed approach to service provisions.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide services and resource coordination to assist the client and/or family in gaining access to necessary rehabilitative, social, and other services and supports.
• Present program curricula for parenting orientation.
• Facilitate an evidence-based parenting program to provide the client with necessary information about parenting skills.
• Present program curricula for groups on Human Trafficking.
• Responsible for documentation, i.e., progress notes, parenting assignments, and other forms/records as required in a timely manner. Maintain detailed case files and other documentation in 100% compliance with the program standards.
• Comply with policies and procedures governing the program and ensure that the program is operating at maximum efficiency.
• Meet or exceed program productivity expectations on a regular and sustained basis
