The Pharmacy Licensing Analyst will manage a portfolio of Pharmacy licenses for OptumRx/Genoa pharmacies. You will be part of the OptumRx Pharmacy Licensing team, a great team of experienced licensing specialists that help support our pharmacies. In this role, you will be assigned a book of business supporting our Genoa pharmacies and for ensuring all licenses in your book are obtained and renewed on time, ensuring we remain in compliance with regulations. You will respond to inquiries from Board of Pharmacy, DEA and other state and federal regulators and internal stakeholders. - 2+ years of direct pharmacy licensing experience and/or experience with state boards of pharmacy or experience in licensing for Medicare or Medicaid enrollments
- Proficient with Microsoft Word (creating and editing documents), Excel (general spreadsheet navigation, data entry/sorting data) and Outlook (email and calendar)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Paralegal certificate
- Notary Public
- Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint (document retrieval and storage) and Office applications
- Experience with licensing database
- Experience with regulatory agency websites and application portals like state Board of Pharmacy or DEA sites
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated contributor who takes ownership of a task from start to finish
