The Nurse Clinic Supervisor for our Rehab Medicine Clinic leads the clinic staff in providing up to date, evidence-based care for patients with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, amputations, strokes, neuromuscular injuries and disorders as well as patients requiring EMG (electromyography) exams, spasticity management including the management of baclofen pumps and Botox injections. Works collaboratively with patients, families, hospital staff, and healthcare providers to provide optimal patient care and promote patient’s functional independence. Provides general clinic management and supervision of the assigned staff in the designated clinic setting. Supports and maintains University Health’s policies, protocols, values and guest relations.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or higher is required (Magnet). Must have at least three years clinical or hospital nursing with two years of supervisory/charge experience in nursing. Experience within the University Health System is desirable.
Must possess a current license to practice Registered Nursing in the State of Texas. Must have current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support and Health Care Provider card.
