Job Details

What you will be doing:

  • To achieve assigned revenue quota by selling PTC software products and solutions to the engineering sector of the discreet manufacturing companies
  • Investigate and understand the internal business processes of potential clients; and strategize, present and demonstrate a tailored technology solution
  • Investigate and develop sales opportunities for product development consulting and/or training consulting within the assigned territory
  • Direct coordinated sales forecast of regional team
  • Expected to develop a pipeline that is 3x quota in all quota categories
  • Manages total sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed client base expansion within the region


  • Build relationships with key customers and departmental managers
  • Prospect and develop new accounts while maintaining sales within existing accounts
  • Develop Long Term Relationships
  • Direct activities to connect with every customer quarterly (between the AM and AAM this needs to be accomplished)
  • Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives
  • Meets with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
  • Direct account management and ensure that all escalated customer issues are reviewed and resolved in a timely manner that best suits the customer


  • Collaborate and strategize with Marketing to establish and maintain brand awareness within region (Seminars, web casts, customer appreciation events, etc…)
  • Coordinate and align resources from across our comapny to support timely closure of opportunities in the pipeline
  • Expected to drive Enterprise business without the assistance of additional sales management


  • Responsible for identifying and improving individual performance that is below expectations (i.e. activity, pipeline, revenue production) with written documentation
  • Responsible for performance reviews and individual staff development recommendations
  • Responsible for effective hiring, orientation, training and retention of sales staff
  • Manage, develop and motivate direct reporting staff according to company procedures and policy
  • Assigns sales territory to sales representatives
  • Assign the monthly targets to all sales appointments and supervising the day-to-day performance of the employees

What you need to be successful in this role:
3-5+ Years Sales Experience
Experience successfully leading a sales team
Software/ SAAS sales experience
Experience with PTC products is a HUGE plus.
