Job Title: Security Guard - Truck Gate
Location: Schertz & San Antonio, TX
Environment: Trucking Site

Shift: Friday - Saturday 10pm-6am (San Antonio) & Sunday - Monday 10pm-6am (Schertz) (32 hours/week, full-time)

Compensation: $13.75 hour

About the job:

• Excellent customer service is always your top priority
• Verify vehicles and trailers coming in and out of trucking yard
• Periodic patrols of the facility during office hours
• Accurately filling out truck logs

Your background:

• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• You're able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience - even better!
• You have a state security license or ability to obtain one

Hourly Pay Rate: 14.50

Shift & Hours: Saturday - Sunday 7am-2pm & Monday - Wednesday 2pm-9pm (35 hours/week, Full-Time)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Responsibilities specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:

• Verify vehicles and trailers coming in and out of trucking yard
• Periodic patrols of the facility during office hours
• Accurately filling out truck logs

General Security responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent customer service to our clients
• Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
• Respond quickly to critical situations
• Ability to read and write detailed reports
• Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:

• Currently possess or ability to obtain a non-commission security license (we will help you obtain if needed!)
• At least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
• High attention to detail and customer service
• Ability to work outside in elements
• Computer literacy
• Must have reliable transportation
• Experience in truck logs preferred
• Customer service skills

General Qualifications to work in physical security at GardaWorld include:

• Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement Experience Preferred
• Entry Level
