• Competitive compensation package to include equity! Overview of the Senior Accountant Financial Reporting role: • This Senior Accountant will work directly under the Controller
• Assist in the preparation and processing of various SEC filings, to conform with US GAAP guidelines and SEC requirements
• Prepare and manage the timeline and documentation requests, maintaining financial reporting system, and drafting financial statement footnotes as needed.
• Oversee a company-wide systems implementation
• Conduct research on technical accounting issues/new reporting standards
• Perform control activities and maintain related SOX documentation
• Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures as well as controls identified
• Prepare reporting needed for external audit and tax teams
• Preparation of periodic reports to Management Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant Financial Reporting role: • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or related field (Required)
• 5+ years of SEC standards expertise
• SEC Reporting (10Q, 10-K filings) (Required)
• GL Experience
• Experience in a small start-up company
