The ideal applicant will meet at least 80% of the criteria listed below;

1. Cisco Certification; CCNP strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
2. Palo Alto Certification; PCNSA or equivalent experience.
3. Ability to implement Network Lifecycle.
4. Develops network architecture and network design documentation.
5. Plan and implement any improvement, modification, or replacement of network infrastructure components.
6. Provides advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution of complex network problems
7. Background in data center network design strongly preferred.
8. Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts.
9. A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking.

1. In-depth understanding of communication and routing protocols. (e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)

1. Experience with NX-OS, IOS, FTD, and PAN-OS heavily preferred.
2. In-depth knowledge of VPN – able to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
3. Hands on experience with various VPN hardware strongly preferred.
4. In-depth knowledge in managing a Network Monitoring Solutions or Syslog.
5. Ability to troubleshoot packet-level issues using network protocol analyzers.
6. Strong understanding and experience in wireless networking.
7. Experience with VoIP systems – Implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting. (ShoreTel, Mitel, Alcatel-Lucent, etc.)
8. Hands-on experience with NPS, Radius, 802.1x, is preferred.
9. Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, AV and IDS/IPS concepts.
10. Some ability to troubleshoot and maintain current in-house faxing solutions.
11. Experience with SAN network solutions and ability to size necessary hardware.
12. Windows server administration experience preferred.
13. Some experience working with active directory, virtual hosts, virtual machines, is a plus.
14. SAN experience is a plus.
15. VMWare administration is a plus.
16. May be required to take on Sever Administration roles.
17. Must be organized and have the ability to manage projects of varying length.
18. Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently.
19. IT hardware or software certifications.
20. Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents.
21. Assist researching security enhancements and make recommendations to management.
22. Stay up-to-date on information technology trends in security standards.

Formal Education in computer technology or 2+ years of computer and software support in a business environment.
