This position is full-time (40 hours/week) are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8 hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (7:00am - 11:00pm, Monday – Friday and 9:00am – 5:30pm, Saturday and Sunday). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Project coordinators are an important part of an organization's project team. They work under a project manager to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Project coordinators oversee small parts of the larger project and are primarily responsible for administrative tasks.

Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment and information. Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives. Ensuring that clients' needs are met as the project evolves.
  • Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary
  • Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions
  • Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information
  • Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track
  • Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
  • Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails
  • Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures
  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Determining project changes.
  • Providing administrative support as needed.
  • Undertaking project tasks as required.
  • Developing project strategies.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Ensure relying party views are managed towards the best solution.
  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
  • Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
  • Preparing reports
  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Organizing, attending, and participating in meetings.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Manage personnel administration including hiring, benefits, records management, payroll administration and performance reviews.
  • Create administrative SharePoint site for support staff that facilitate efficient downloading of files for easy access and review.
  • Increase internet footprint through correcting existing information, starting social media, and beginning the development process for a website.
  • Assist with minor website design/maintenance & PowerPoint presentations.
  • Other duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 4+ years of project management experience
  • 2+ years experience with tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets and making data-driven analytical decisions.
  • 5+ years of customer service call center experience
  • 3+ years of technical / helpdesk / service desk experience in call center environment
  • 3+ years of knowledge working on multiple browsers (clear cashe and cookies, add favorites, set up home screen tabs, navigate browser and set up settings, open tabs in multiple windows)
  • 3+ years of network administrative experience (Must be able to Ping IP Address to determine network availability – is the computer connected to a network? Must be able to troubleshoot network connectivity issues)
  • Intermediate to Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Project - able to put together reporting, create diagrams, create executive level presentation, draft training materials, Microsoft Excel -  open, edit, save, send, and create Spreadsheets, Microsoft Visio - create workflow diagrams, Microsoft PowerPoint - open, edit, save, send, and create Presentations and Microsoft SharePoint - store and organize content and other forms of documents
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (must be able to open, edit, save, send, and create Word Documents and Outlook Emails/Calendars)
  • Must be able to work in EST
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group - approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders

Telecommute Requirements

  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree (or higher)
  • Project management certification
  • UHG Telecom Experience

Soft Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Able to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of employees and clients
