Who We Are:

Providing design, development, and analysis on components, engines, transmissions, and vehicles, we also support research and modeling for fuel mixing, combustion, filtration, and fluid flow analysis. We are pioneers in measuring engine and vehicle exhaust emissions.


Objectives of this Role:

  • Serve as project leader and design engineer on in-cylinder flow, turbulence, combustion, and emissions from SI and CI engines.
  • Lead or facilitate projects involving 3D CFD to model engine after treatment system and battery. Offer technical leadership and direction to team developing new models or techniques to describe phenomena within an engine
  • Supervise reports and makes presentation summarizing test results to domestic and international clients.Interface with clients to define and coordinate projects, provide updates, and share results.
  • Manage CFD and other modeling and simulation tests. Prepare bids and promotional efforts as well as proposal presentation in the area of powertrain analysis. Develop long-term goals and projects for clients and internal research teams

Requirements:

  • Requires a Masters or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering
  • Must have three years of post-baccalaureate mechanical engineering experience
  • The three years of experience must include experience with engine systems analysis related to in-cylinders, emissions, and aftertreatment in-cylinder CFD; 3D CFD software
  • Pro/E; modeling in-cylinder flow, turbulence, and emissions; aftertreatment systems; and modeling and simulation of engine systems
  • Must travel 10% domestically and internationally
