NOTE:  This position is open to remote work but will require frequent availability in our Corvallis, OR or Portland, OR locations.  Candidates living within 1-2 hours of Corvallis, OR will be given priority consideration.

POSITION SUMMARY: This position provides high level administrative services and support to the company executives by planning and scheduling meetings, teleconferences and travel for the NuScale Business Development team as well as reviewing, researching, and routing correspondence and drafting confidential communications and documents.   


  1. On behalf of delegated Executives: maintain Outlook accounts--email, contacts, and calendars; screen calls.
  2. Maintains flexibility to operate during East Coast business hours as needed.
  3. Perform complex and sensitive administrative functions including preparing confidential correspondence, memos, forms and documents.
  4. Maintains various databases and spreadsheet files as needed or requested by the executive team.
  5. Event and meeting management; Prepare PowerPoint presentations and coordinate distribution of presentations and materials.
  6. Arrange travel, obtain visas and passports; manage executive expense reimbursement.
  7. Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Dependability: Consistently on time and at work, responds to management expectations and solicits feedback to improve performance.
  • Safety and security: Observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
  • Quality Assurance: Demonstrates understanding and implementation of quality assurance regulations, standards and guidelines of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and ASME NQA-1.


  • Education: A minimum of an Associate’s degree.   Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of full-time administrative experience supporting higher level management is required. Working for a professional services organization or energy industry experience is required. Must be an expert user with MS office suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc).  Must have exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, with an emphasis on coordinating conflicting demands and priorities.  Experience with international travel is strongly preferred.
  • Industry Requirements: Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.
