As the ClinicalResource Director, you will establish and lead the supply expense agenda for the clinical resource management program for a multiple hospital within the Houston market. You will be responsible for reviewing and optimizing the grouppurchasing organization’s contract portfolio and developing and executingproduct standardization with the value analysis committees.
What you will do in this role:
- Drive positivechange through program definition and driving initiatives that support thehealth care organizations’ clinical expense agenda.
- Utilize broad enterprise and segment influence by building alliances withhospital leadership, physicians and supply chain to successfully execute theirclinical supply expense plans.
- Develop, implement, monitor and verify facility(s) based productstandardization, contract compliance, product utilization, cost data, processimprovements and waste
- Identify and implement supply expense margin improvement
- Ensure communication and education regarding product and procedure changesoccurs in all affected departments, to include physicians and medicalmanagement personnel
What Qualification you will need:
Bachelor’s degree required, BSN strongly preferred with related experiences in healthcare value analysis, clinical supply chain, or acute care hospital performance improvement.
2+ years of clinical/healthcare experience; Med/surg acute care setting and patient care experience highly preferred.
Solid proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, and demonstrated personal time management/project prioritization skills
Current RN License, Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP), Certified Value Analysis Health Professional (CVAHP), or similar credential preferred
