Cloud Engineer Spathe Systems is seeking an Cloud Engineer to support the Air Force Software DevSecOps BOA in San Antonio, TX. Clearance: Minimum of Secret Job Description: SPATHE is looking for a qualified individual to support a multi-PoP contract to support the Air Force Software DevSecOps BOA in San Antonio, TX. that may start as early as May 2022. * Building and implementing security controls for platform and infrastructure, with a focus on automating security and compliance * Designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving DevSecOps Pipelines * Acting as a subject matter expert on the implementation and capabilities of existing security controls. * Collaborating with development teams to reduce/remove risks within the design and implementation phases * Providing support with security incidents, helping the team prioritize and remediate appropriately * Serving as a consultant to team members on security vulnerabilities and their corresponding remediations, ensuring security vulnerability scan outputs are reviewed and appropriate actions are taken * Participating in daily SCRUM meetings. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related analytical field; or Associate's Degree in a related analytical field and 3+ years equivalent experience; or 5+ years equivalent experience is preferred. * AWS Cloud practitioner * 5+ Years' Experience supporting Enterprise level cloud infrastructure * 8570 IAT Level II - CompTIA Security + * Experience establishing security practices, working with DevSecOps methodologies and processes * Strong experience implementing security monitoring, logging, and alerting (AWS GuardDuty, AWS Inspector, AWS Security Hub, Network Firewall Manager, Splunk, CloudWatch, etc.) * Experience with securing containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) * Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), deploying/configuring and automating security components, automated guard rails and event handling * Experience with Ansible (Configuration as Code) Creating, editing and/or running playbooks. * Strong experience with embedding security into Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery pipelines * Experience building, scaling, and automating infrastructure vulnerability management programs and tools * Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance Preferred Skills/Qualifications: * AWS Solutions Architect, SysOps or Developer Associate * Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures such as NIST, FISMA, FedRamp and CIS. * Detailed understanding of identity management principles & technologies * Experience with cloud APIs and securing REST APIs.
