Responsibilities Of The Director Of Finance
• Manages and maintains accounting system in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and all applicable laws, procedures and regulations.
• Develops and implements budgetary formats, instructions and cost factors for the preparation of budgets throughout the organization for all proposals and contracts.
• Forecast budgets in a timely and accurate manner based on present and past operations, trends, and future obligations.
• Develop training for employees to understand fiscal processes and procedures.
• Monitor cash flow to ensure operating needs are met.
• To be an agent of change by implementing the innovation and installation of responsive and forward-looking finance policies

Experience Requirements For The Director Of Finance
• Bachelors in accountant or finance
• 3-5 years in a management role that has expertise in budgeting, accounting, cash management and forecasting, financial management and analysis, auditing, grants management.
• Proficiency in accounting software, MS Office (with expertise in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel), and Adobe Acrobat

Preferred Experience for The Director of Finance
• MBA in accounting or finance
• Non-profit background with experience in Grant Funds Management
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
