JOB SUMMARY: This position will support the full life cycle of vendor contract activities within the Information Technology department. This position will also assist with risk management activities within the overall department while coordinating overall responsibility for the department's 3rd party vendor contract management system, data warehouse and workflows.

 JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Support the contracts process for the department including contract intake, contract review, contract redlines, vendor onboarding and administration of department contracts repository.
  2. Liase with Legal Department for review and approval of contracts. Collaborate with legal counsel to advise management on contractual rights and obligations.
  3. Advise and assist department management in matters of risk management and vendor negotiation processes.
  4. Identify and advise management of contractual issues that may impact the department and/or company as a whole through full participation in the business/vendor contract review processes.
  5. Fully utilize the department's online Contract Management System in order to ensure all contracts receive full management approval. Supports IT contracts data warehouse and ensures all contracts are executed and returned for inclusion in warehouse.
  6. Audit all department contracts to ensure completion of all required documentation
  7. Assist with vendor audits as necessary.
  8. Support the Risk Management group for vendor tracking and adherence to appropriate policies and procedures.
  9. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
  10. Ensure compliance with 3rd Party Vendor Management Policies and Procedures
  11. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  12. Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.

This position works under general supervision in a self-directed and results oriented manner. The incumbent works within established standards and procedures, relying on a broad range of knowledge gained through experience to complete job responsibilities.. The incumbent has regular contact with all levels internal and external sources to complete objectives, keeping the needs of external and internal customers as a priority when making decisions and taking action.
