We seek an exceptional Product Marketing Manager/Director to lead our companys fast-growing product marketing function. You will help expand NDI's market position and establish NDI as the de facto IP-video standard across multiple verticals. The Product Marketing Director will be both strategic and hands-on, creating product go-to-market strategy and plans, value proposition, messaging, benefits and differentiators, as well as implementing frameworks for market perspective, competitive positioning, product roadmap, and sales enablement.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in B2B2B technology licensing and SaaS in dynamic markets with complex technical products. A substantial experience in broadcast, video streaming, content-encoding/transcoding, and delivery is a PLUS.

This is a highly strategic and cross-functional role and will play a critical role in the NDI journey; and requires proven storytelling expertise, strategic thinking, business acumen, a passion for customers, and outstanding leadership.

What youll do:

  • Drive the product marketing strategy across messaging and positioning, storytelling, pricing and packaging, customer and market research, and new product launches.

  • Deliver with the product team differentiated product value propositionsthat will drive strong customer love & adoption.

  • Create compelling, differentiated messaging and positioning with a clear understanding of the target customer, the customers journey, and the core capabilities of the NDI offering.

  • Work with product management to define business models and monetization strategies that support the product experiences and drive value.

  • Create compelling and easy-to-understand narratives that convey our vision for the market, product strategy, features, benefits,and more.

  • Effectively communicate the value proposition, target audiences,and critical product scenarios to the go-to-market team and other stakeholdersfor excellent Go-To-Market execution.

  • Lead communication and marketing plans for the launch of new products, features, and releases aligned with the target audiences.

  • Working, at times, with the brand and content team; developing and maintaining content, including sales pitches and sales enablement materials, demos, collateral, thought leadership and solution presentations, website content, videos, blogs, byline articles, and more, to execute communication strategies and accelerate the customers journey.

  • Drive the understanding, usage, and integration of key insights, including but not limited to market trends and market opportunities, and synthesize that information into actionable plans.

  • Embed product marketing across the business and form the connective tissue between product and the go-to-market teams.

What you bring to the role:

  • 8+ years of product marketing experience with a Licensing and SaaS product, 3+ years of product marketing experience in the Video, broadcast, OTT, or streaming industries.

  • Prior experience developing GTM plans to launch new licensing and SaaS products

  • Able to identify opportunities to position products differently in the market, focus on clear messaging to highlight value propositions to clients

  • Successful track record partnering with Marketing, Sales, Product & Customer Success teams to turn features into client benefits

  • Demonstrated experience in technology marketing, including the ability to take technical concepts and communicate them to both business and technical audiences

  • Advanced ability to manage multiple parallel projects and goals to achieve critical deadlines

  • Strong written, verbal, and visual capabilities across multiple communication channels

  • A sense of urgency, a natural bias for action, and an ability to operate independently.

  • The highest level of integrity and professionalism.

Even better:

  • Extensive experience in B2B OEM technology licensing sales is a huge plus.

  • Intimate knowledge of the video industry and experience working with industry partners at major hardware OEMs, cloud service providers, and broadcast hardware and software providers.

  • Understanding technologies such as NDI (Video over IP), Video Compression, Video routing, cloud video, MAM, etc.

  • Knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies related to IP video, digital video and audio, compression technology, and infrastructure requirements.

  • Experience working with a matrixed team of stakeholders to achieve a common goal

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to think and act independently within a fast-paced, multi-task environment.

  • Work across international time zones in North America, Asia, and Europe.
