The Regulatory Adherence Analyst - Eden Prairie, MN or Telecommuters who are qualified will manage a portfolio of Medicaid and Medicare provider enrollments for OptumRx /Genoa pharmacies.  
 
The Regulatory Adherence Analyst will be part of the OptumRx Government Programs Licensing team, a great team of experienced licensing specialists that help support our Genoa and Optum pharmacies. In this role, you will monitor, analyze and handle requests from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regarding provider enrollment applications, revalidations, pharmacy license updates, changes of information, voluntary relinquishments and other related inquiries. You will ensure the timely submission of materials to state Medicaid agencies and to Medicare via the Provider Enrollment, Chain, and Ownership System (PECOS) in order to maintain enrollments. You will have considerable contact with state Medicaid agencies and Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs). You will engage in updating records and producing reports via our internal proprietary licensing databases and maintaining electronic files. You will monitor, review and appropriately route all incoming email inquiries that are received in the Government Programs licensing group mailbox. You will assist in resolving licensing issues as needed and communicate with the manager on complex issues and licensing improvements and recommendations. Build partnerships and work collaboratively to meet shared objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of regulatory filings experience and/or past experience with CMS or a State Medicaid agency 
  • Experience interacting and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders (colleagues, internal business partners, and management)
  • General understanding of Medicaid and Medicare enrollments as it relates to pharmacies 
  • Intermediate or better proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook 
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or commensurate direct licensing experience  
  • Notary designation 
  • Paralegal certificate 
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams 
  • Experience in a pharmacy setting
  • Solid problem solving and analytical skills
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills 
  • Self-motivated contributor who takes ownership of a task from start to finish  
  • High degree of time management and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume and be part of a fast-paced environment

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $21.68 to $38.56. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $23.94 to $42.40.
