LK Jordan has an immediate opening for a Shipping / Receiving Administrative Assistant . Our client is a very well established in the produce industry and has an immediate opening. This person will be working with and reporting to the CEO. Starting pay is $15.00 - $16.00 DOE related experience. This is a full time position with the hours as follows: Monday Friday, 5: 30am 1: 00pm with rotating Saturdays
- Perform shipping/receiving/inventory tasks including operating the accounting software to create pick tickets, invoices, purchase order, and generate case/pallet/bin labels for receiving supervisors.
- Perform administrative duties preparing and filing monitored documents, answering telephones and monitor customer entry into the facility via intercom system.
- Enter, update and maintain Admin & Logistics - related data into a computer system or software.
- Collaborate with shipping/receiving departments as necessary to meet customer requirements.
- Receive Purchase Order (PO) in accounting software.
- Maintain and develop positive business relationship with customer s key personnel involved directly and/or relevant to distribution and delivery.
- Assist with maintaining Food Safety data as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 5 years experience with related duties
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Proficiency w/ MS Office
- Good w/ Math and reconciliation
